Introduction
The first step in the Link Data Wizard asks you to specify whether you are setting up a new project in codeit or editing the setup of a project that already exists in codeit.
Options
| Option | Description |
| New Project | Create a new project in codeit linked to a survey in the target survey platform |
| Existing Project | Edit the setup for a linked project that already exists in codeit. You can edit the setup for a project at any time, for example to add new Tasks. |
Existing Projects - Restrictions
When editing an existing project using the Link Data Wizard, there are certain limitations on what you can and cannot change, as follows:

The settings that cannot be changed are restricted because changing them would invalidate any data already loaded from the target system and/or any coding work already done.
