We understand that data privacy is important, so codeit does not use any methods or third parties that would compromise that. The recent rise of ChatGPT has resulted in concerns over data privacy and ownership. This page explains our data policy with respect to OpenAI / ChatGPT.
Codeframe Builder & themeit
codeit is hosted entirely within the Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
The Codeframe Builder and themeit tools therefore only use a private instance of the GPT Language Model dedicated exclusively for use by codeit. As such, no data is transferred outside of the Azure network or sent to the OpenAI servers.
The Azure servers that codeit uses are located in the UK. Therefore, if you use the Codeframe Builder or themeit, you should accept that your data will be sent to the UK servers for processing.
The Microsoft Azure OpenAI policy states that no input data or prompts are used to retrain or improve the GPT model. Any data submitted is retained for 30 days purely for the purposes of monitoring any abuse of the service. Only authorized Microsoft employees can access the data for abuse and content monitoring.
