Introduction
Sometimes you may need to alter the settings of a Task.
At various places within codeit, this can be achieved by clicking the "Configure" button which will show the "Configure Task" dialog.
Available Settings
The Configure Task dialog allows you to change the following settings of a Task:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The unique name given to a Task to identify it. |
| Task Type | Identifies the type of verbatim data that a Task contains (e.g. Open Ends, Brands etc..) |
| Notes | Contains notes or instructions that coders need in order to code the Task |
| Context Variables | Variables to be used as filters or displayed when coding data in a Task. |
