Introduction
We have made a small change to the way languages are configured in the Import Wizard in codeit.
In summary, the overall functionality is unchanged, however the language selection part of the process has been split into a separate standalone step.
What is Language Selection?
When you import survey data, it's important to tell codeit what language(s) your respondents have answered your survey in. The language assigned to each interview drives various features in codeit such as translation, coding allocation and the AI autocoding.
Why has this changed?
In the previous version of codeit, the language selection options were included in the "Select Fields" step of the wizard.
Some of our users have mentioned that it's too easy to miss these options because they're tucked away at the bottom of the page.
What has changed?
To make these settings more obvious and easier to work with, they are now shown on a separate, dedicated page within the Import Wizard.
