Introduction
We have introduced a new "Extract Brands" step in the brand coding process.
Running the "Extract Brands" process will apply codeit's specialized brand coding AI to your data. This AI will extract brands, automatically build a codeframe and autocode your data.
What has changed?
Rather than going straight into the "Brand Coding" screen as you would have done previously - you first need to use the "Extract Brands" feature in the coding Start Menu.

Why has this changed?
Previously, when you entered the "Brand Coding" mode, codeit would perform this brand extraction on-the-fly.
For larger projects, this would often take some time which meant the Brand Coding page would be slow to load.
By performing the brand extraction process up front, this delay is eliminated and coders can get straight to work quickly.
Summary: Brand Coding Process
To summarise, the process for coding a brand coding project should now be something like this:
