Introduction
This page details the way in which your data is used by the Machine Learning system within codeit.
What is Machine Learning in codeit?
If machine learning is enabled on your Project codeit will automatically build a machine learning model based on your coded data. This model can then be used to autocode new verbatims in your project by applying the learning gained from the coded examples you have provided. This is a powerful technique which can speed up the coding process considerably.
Also, by training on your specific examples the model is more tailored to your requirements so yields more accuracy and precision than using a general purpose model (e.g. GPT, Claude etc).
How is your data used?
The coded data in your Project is used to train a machine learning model that is specific to your Codeframe.
Your data is only used for that purpose and is not used in any other way. Your data is not used to train AI for other clients or for general codeit use.
Can other clients benefit from your data?
No. Each machine learning model is specific to your Codeframe and only you have access to that Codeframe. Therefore, the model and training data cannot be accessed or used by anyone but you.
Can the Machine Learning be applied on other projects?
As the machine learning is tied to your Codeframe, it can be transferred and applied to any other Projects or Tasks that share that Codeframe. Again, your Codeframes are contained solely within your company account so cannot be applied to any projects outside of your account.
How long is your data retained?
The Machine Learning model will be retained for as long as the corresponding Codeframe remains in use.
This is covered in more detail in our data retention policy.
