Introduction

Within the Project Details page, you can add a new Data Sync Schedule to automatically sync data to/from your survey platform and codeit.

Steps Required

You can create a new Data Sync Schedule by following these steps: 

  1. On the Project Details page, click the Data Sync Schedules button within the main ribbon.

  2. Click the "Add" button to begin creating a new schedule:

  3. Enter the relevant settings (see below) for the schedule you'd like to create

  4. Press Save to create the new schedule.  The schedule will be immediately active and will run at the next specified day/time. 


Schedule Settings

The following table outlines the schedule settings available with a description for each:

NameThe unique name of the schedule
Description (Optional)Description of the schedule - useful if you want to provide additional information that helps other understand the purpose of the schedule
Run AtLocal time of the day at which the schedule will run
EveryDays of the week during which the schedule will run
ForExpiry date for the schedule. At most 30 days


Data Sync Schedule Actions

When a schedule runs it can perform a number of different actions (for example, sync data to codeit, sync data from codeit).
When adding a new schedule, you can specify the actions you want to run, using the "Actions" tab.

These Actions will be used for every sync using this schedule. 


Data Sync Schedule Settings

Similar to Actions, you can also specify certain settings to apply when running a sync (for example, the Overwrite data setting).
